Beveling the chines

Got the chine boards beveled today.

They started life yesterday morning as a 16' 2x12. After yesterday's planing and today's ripping...


...the Pelican is showing even more of its shape.

I went ahead and dry-fit one layer to the jig, just to see if everything would line up. I think we are looking pretty good here. They went on without a lot of drama, although this test fit made it clear that the final glue-up of these is going to be a two-man job.
